Kapuso actor Dennis Trillo admitted that it took him lots of research and efforts to prepare for his role on the upcoming historical-biographical film entitled “Felix Manalo” which will tackle the life story of the first Executive Minister of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC).
In an interview with Chisms.net during the press conference of the said film (Thursday -August 20, 2015), Dennis shared his preparation for the title role he portrayed.

“Meron kaming immersion kasama yung mga kapatid (INC members) natin na ni-lecturan kami tungkol sa doktrina ng Iglesia, kung pano nagsimula. Ako naman nung nalaman ko na ako yung gaganap nag-google kaagad ako nag-research ako tiningnan ko kung may mga videos pa ba kasi siyempre unang una mong titingnan kung anong klaseng tao ba ‘tong si Kapatid Felix Manalo, paano ba siya manalita, anong itsura niya,” explained Dennis.
He also added, “Tiningnan ko ‘yung mga pictures, tiningnan ko kung papano ko babaguhin yung itsura ko para maging kamukha ko siya tapos binasa ko ‘yung script…mahaba yung mga lines pinilit ko siyang intindihin dahil doctrinal yunng script habang binabasa ko siya marami akong natutunan kasi aral siya.”
