A Colombian who burned an effigy of Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach got the ire of most netizens. The video uploaded by a certain Noider Almanza Barraza on Facebook went viral.
The video was already taken down and Noider issued an apology saying that it was part of their tradition.
On her Twittter page, Comedienne Ethel Booba posted a photo of her holding a torch with an effigy featuring the body of Pia but with the face of the Colombian. Ethel caption the photo with:
“Kalma lang guys. Ako bahala. Babawi tayo sa sunugan ng effigy. Charot!”
