After his recent success with the drama suspense-thriller independent film ‘Dukot’ by Paul Soriano, actor Enrique Gil is trying his hand at projects that are different from his mainstream matinee idol image.
In an interview with Push, Enrique revealed that he is cooking up an original superhero film with Ten17 (1017) Productions, the same house that produced ‘Dukot’.

The actor shared that the film will focus on the protagonist’s journey to becoming a superhero instead of focusing and glorifying the superhero life.
“If you noticed ‘yung mga superhero ngayon kapag nagka-power. Ikaw kapag nagka-power ka, superhero bigla. Totoo ba ‘yun na if somebody gets a superpower you want to become a superhero? Di ba hindi naman ata ganon,” Enrique told Push.
“Ako kasi there’s a point in my life na ‘Ako kapag naging superhero ako gagawin ko lahat ng gusto ko na hindi ko magawa!’You will probably go and get the money, as in whatever you want kapag may power ka. Yung pinaka-crush mo na artista sa Hollywood, pupuntahan mo,” he explained.
