The country’s “Queen of Rock and Roll” Elizabeth Ramsey was rushed to a hospital after suffering a stroke on Thursday evening (August 6, 2015), her daughter Jaya said.
On her Facebook page, Jaya posted a message asking the public to pray for her mother:
“August 6, 2015, my mama had a stroke today, I’m at my saddest but still praise God for He is in control!!! Please if you can, say a little prayer for my dearest mother. Thank you.”
Jaya then again posted another message:
“Thank you to all of you who prayed for Mama Beth. God bless all of you and will update you soon of her condition, but I promise you, prayers really work!!!! God be praised for his mercy.”
