Singer songwriter Ed Sheeran arrived in Philippine shores afternoon of March 11 for his sold out concert at the SM MOA Arena on March 12. Fans were at the airport to welcome the British singer.
Commotions occurred when an unidentified companion of Sheeran tried to prevent passengers, airline personnel, and journalists from taking photos of Sheeran without their permission and shouted “monkeys”.
Airport authorities cautioned Sheeran’s companion to refrain from uttering discriminating remarks or he can be barred from entering the country.
Sheeran’s companion has apologized and said that it was just an expression and he didn’t mean it that way.
