Duterte is new president, Robredo is vice president in official count

Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte and Camarines Sur Representative Leni Robredo emerged winners in the presidential and vice presidential races, respectively, after Congress, sitting as the National Board of Canvassers (NBOC), completed the canvass of 167 certificates of votes.

For the presidential race Duterte got 16,601,997 votes, followed by DILG secretary Manuel Roxas II (9,978,175 votes), Senator Grace Poe (9,100,991 votes), Vice President Jejomar Binay (5,416,140 votes), Senator Miriam Defensor Santiago (1,455,532 votes), and the late ambassador Roy Señeres with 27,779 votes.

For the vice presidential race, Robredo got 14,418,817 votes while her closest rival Senator Ferdinand Marcos Jr. got 14,155,344 votes. Robreo won by a slim margin of 263,473 votes.

Following Sen. Marcos Jr. is Senator Alan Peter Cayetano who got 5,903,379 votes, Senators Francis Escudero (4,931,962 votes), Antonio Trillanes IV (788,861 votes), and Gregorio Honasan II with 788,881 votes.
