De La Salle University Lady captured the championship title for the UAAP Season 78 Women’s Volleyball tournament after beating back-to-back defending champion Ateneo de Manila University at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Saturday – April 30, 2016.
The DLSU Lady Spikers won the coveted title in four sets: 19-25, 25-21, 25-16, 25-16.
Game 3 of UAAP Season 78 is the final game for DLSU graduating students Mika Reyes, Ara Galang and Syd Demicillo while for Ateneo it is the final game for Alyssa Valdez.
