Senator Ramon ‘Bong’ Revila Jr. requested that he be allowed to attend his daughter’s graduation rites, his request was denied. The senator’s daughter Franzel Loudette Bautista is a graduating student of De La Salle Zobel School.

“At the outset, it should be stressed that accused Revilla and the other accused are charged with the capital offense of plunder, and that because the Court had found that the evidence of their guilt is strong, their petitions for bail were denied and that, consequently, they continued to be held in detention. Being detention prisoners, just like all other detention prisoners, the accused cannot be allowed the full enjoyment of their rights, be it civil of political.“
“The Court is not inclided at this time to treat as exceptional circumstances the commencement exercises of his daughter in Muntinlupa City. To the mind of the Court, allowing accused Revilla to attend the graduation of his daughter will not only set a bad precedent, but will ikewise bt regarded as a mockery of the administration of justice.”
Radio disc jockey and television host Mohan Gumatay or popularly known as Mo Twister also has something to say regarding the request of Senator Bong. In his Twitter account, Mo posted the following:
“Bong Revilla wants to attend daughters graduation. Yeah f**k you. People out there can’t afford going to school cuz you stole their tuition.“
