Direk Joey Reyes warns moviegoers of “ticket swapping”

The Metro Manila Film Festival 2015 has started and as predicted by many, the top 3 movies leading the box-office are “Beauty and the Bestie”, ‘My Bebe Love’ and “All You Need Is Pag-Ibig” (in no particular order).

But there are reports of “ticket swapping” being done to benefit one movie from the other. In other words, if one bought a ticket for a particular movie (“My Bebe Love” for example), the moviegoer will be given a ticket with a different film so the sales will be attributed to the other film.

On his Twitter account, My Bebe Love’ director Jose Javier Reyes revealed that indeed ticket swapping is being done in some cinemas and Direk Joey adviced moviegoers to be more cautious and check if they are getting the right tickets.

Here is Direk Joey’s tweets:

– Got word from producer:IT IS TRUE. Make sure that the title of the movie on YOUR ticket is what you want to watch.Beware of ticket swapping.

– BEWARE OF TICKET-SWAPPING. Look at the title of the movie on your tickets. REPORT anomalies or take IG pictures and POST in social media.

– Please be calm but cautious. More important, true happiness can only be obtained by sincere and honest actions. ALDUB NATION, be above this.
