One user commented: ” It’s like adding insult to injury. The money spent on those expensive attires (and hair and make up) could go a long way to reach their goal. Oh! Did somebody say they were sponsored?! Ahh … Business nga pala din Ito. Won’t donations come in if the celebrities were wearing tees and jeans?”
Another user, however, said that the event helped raise awareness about abused and abandoned children.
She wrote: “In these dark times of hunger and murder , a giant tv network dared to create awareness on the plight of abused, abandoned children and help build a haven for them from proceeds and donations through this event. Call it anyway you like, the fact remains, it is for a good cause. Peace🙏”
