For the upcoming celebration of International Women’s Day on March 8, 2015 and to promote the ideals of the “IN HER SHOES” event that wants to bring awareness for men to understand and reflect on the plight of women, GMA’s Primetime King Dingdong Dantes showed his support by wearing high heels.
The “IN HER SHOES” event happened last March 6, 2015. Dingdong wearing the high heels is a step for the National Youth Commission in taking a lead in celebrating women power.

“We support all moves to strengthen the implementation of the social protection of women specially in areas such as: safety in the workplace, and ensuring women leadership that is beyond cultural boundaries and religious norms” captioned Dingdong as he shared a picture of him with the heels.
He also said that this is also his way to show how much he values the sacrifices made by her mother, her wife [Marian Rivera], her sisters and all the women in the world.
“A snappy salute to all the women in the world!” ended Dingdong with his post.
