Kapuso’s Primetime King Dingdong Dantes went to Malacañang Palace last September 1, 2014 to formally accept and take his oath for the position of Commissioner-at-Large of National Youth Commission.
As a Commissioner-at-Large of National Youth Commission, Dingdong will lead on how to address issues surrounding the Filipino Youth. The NYC is the Philippine government’s sole policy-making body on youth affairs, but also coordinates and implements some programs designed to help the youth be more aware of the issues surrounding them.
Dingdong Dantes or Jose Sixto Dantes III, will stay in the said position for three years.
President Benigno Aquino III administered the oath.
Dingdong was with his fiancee Primetime Queen Marian Rivera, who later posted on her Instagram account how proud she is with her partner.
Marian posted “Congratulations Asec. Jose Sixto G. Dantes III, We are so proud of you!”
