Actor Derek Ramsay addressed the comments thrown by netizens on ex-flame Angelica Panganiban after the actress decided to “follow” him once again on the photo-sharing site Instagram.
According to an article published by entertainment.inquirer.net on Wednesday (February 10, 2016), the TV5 heartthrob defended the Kapamilya actress after receiving negative remarks related to the Instagram issue with her reported breakup with longtime boyfriend John Lloyd Cruz.

“Let’s give respect to Angelica. She isn’t that kind of girl.”
Derek also commented on Angelica’s alleged breakup with John Lloyd; saying that he does not believe the rumors circulating on social media.
“I don’t believe that they broke up, and even if they did, she wouldn’t try to communicate with another guy just because of that. She’s a strong woman, she knows how to handle pain. I don’t believe the rumors going around because, from what I know, she is very happy.”
In a previous interview, Derek revealed that he and ex-flame Angelica mutually decided to rekindle their friendship.
