GMA’s hunk and dream leading man of most female celebrities, Dennis Trillo, adds an achievement to his stardom after being Highly Commended for Best Actor in a Leading Role at the 19th Asian TV Awards [ATA] last December 11, 2014 at the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore.
Among 1,371 entries from 14 countries across Asia-Pacific, Dennis won 2nd place as Best Actor.
The actor was recognized by the international award giving body for his outstanding performance at the first gay-themed series on Philippine TV, ‘My Husband’s Lover’.
The said series not only aired to GMA’s local channel but also viewed worldwide through GMA Pinoy TV, the network’s flagship international channel.
The Asian Television Awards [ATA] is Asia’s most significant and celebrated event, recognizing excellence in programming, production and performance.
Together with Dennis who attended the ceremony was ‘My Husband’s Lover’ director, Dominic Zapata who was also nominated in the Best Direction category under the same series.
