After winning ‘Your Face Sounds Familiar’ Season 2, Denise Laurel took another challenging role as she portrayed her first ever lesbian character for the upcoming episode of ‘Ipaglaban Mo’ which will be aired on Saturday (January 9, 2016).
In an interview with MJ Felipe on Bandila last Thursday (January 7, 2016), Denise shared that her transformation experience on ‘YFSF’ definitely helped her give justice on her lesbian role.

Denise also revealed that this wasn’t an easy act for her, saying that her character is the complete opposite of her real-life persona.
“Dito ako si Luie na isang lesbian na na-rape. Napakalaking challenge sa akin na, ang layo naman sa sarili ko itong ginagawa ko,” said Denise.
Denise turned to her Instagram account last Wednesday (January 6, 2016) and shared a photo of her together with Bangs Garcia while portraying her lesbian character. She captioned the post with,
