On Sunday, Dec. 12, 2016, The Voice Kids alumnus, Darren Espanto, was awarded as the ASAP Pop Teen Hearthrob in the annual ASAP Pop Teen Choice Awards.
With 58.98% of the votes, Darren won the said award. He was chosen among the nominees like Bailey May, Ronnie Alonte and McCoy de Leon.
