Darci Lynne hailed as ‘America’s Got Talent 2017’ winner

The young ventriloquist Darci Lynne was crowned the “America’s Got Talent 2017” grand winner.

After getting a standing ovation from her finals performance of John Lennon and Paul McCartney’s “With A Little Help From My Friend”, while using her puppets Oscar and Petunia, Lynne awed both the judges and audience as she sang her rendition of the duo’s famous song.

Darci was competing with Fil-Am singer, Angelica Hale for the crown. The two young contestants were nervous as the show’s host Tyra Banks slowly announced the winner of the competition.

After the announcement that Darci won, the young ventriloquist broke into tears of joy.
