In an interview with ABS-CBN entertainment journalist MJ Felipe on Tuesday (April 19, 2016), the Teen King explained the controversial PDA or public display of affection he and Kathryn exhibited during an interview with the press last April 6, 2016.
“Hindi naman PDA iyon. Masaya lang talaga ako kay Kathryn. Dahil si Kathryn, pag masaya siya, ganoon din ako. Parang wala na akong problema.”
During the said interview, Daniel reportedly wrapped his arms around Kathryn and occasionally plants a kiss on the young actress’ shoulder. The Teen King defended his controversial act by saying:
