The bridal shower scene of James Reid and Nadine Lustre in the hit TV series ‘On the Wings of Love’ went controversial after some police officers and PNP sympathizers felt offended on the said setting.
The stint was aired during Monday’s (January 11, 2016) episode of ‘On the Wings of Love’ where James was seen wearing a PNP uniform with a Quezon City Police District badge with an SPO4 rank. Moreover, James stripped and danced on top of Nadine as part of the ‘bridal shower scene’.

A PNP member shared the photos in the Facebook group “Police Digest sa FB” and expressed that she felt insulted over the stint of James and Nadine. In addition, several angered police officers and netizens took to social media their call to require the producers of the television shows not to use the police uniform as clothing for male strippers.
One netizen expressed her dismay over the said issue. She posted a collage photo of the scene and captioned it with:
