COMELEC clears Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla of any election offense

Just hours after the controversial photos of Teen King Daniel Padilla and Teen Queen Kathryn Bernardo holding their official ballots surfaced on various social media websites, the Commission on Elections finally released a statement about the issue.

The said photo went viral on various social media websites after the Kapamilya teen love team allegedly violated some of the election rules set by the COMELEC. Based on the photos uploaded on Facebook, Kathryn and Daniel were seen posing for a photo holding their respective ballots before casting their votes on Monday (May 9, 2016).

As an answer to all those concerned about Kathryn and Daniel’s “violation,” COMELEC Spokesperson James Jimenez tweeted, asking the Kapamilya teen love team to personally meet him to discuss some matters about the viral photos.
