Former matinee idol Cogie Domingo ended his six years of hiatus from the show business by portraying a guest role on GMA’s afternoon prime soap “Buena Familia.”
According to his interview with GMA Network, Cogie said he chose the station for his comeback because it is where he grew as an artist, explaining,
“Kasi sa GMA naman po talaga ako lumaki. I mean, I learned everything with GMA, so why not? ‘Yun talaga ‘yung family ko.”

“It feels like I’m back home. I’m very comfortable with the people I’m working with,” he added.
Furthermore, he shared the three reasons that made him decide to return to the industry he once left. First of which is his 3-year-old daughter Rhianna Clarisse,
“She’s going to school this June. Kailangan ko ring magtrabaho for Rhianna.”
