Coco Martin is the next ‘Panday’

The King of Philippine Television and Cinema Coco Martin will be doing the remake of another hit FPJ film, “Panday”. This was confirmed on Tuesday, April 25, 2017.

On his Instagram account, ABS-CBN PR executive, Eric John Salut reposted a photo of Martin together with the creator of “Panday”, Carlo J. Caparas. He said that Caparas had given Martin the go signal to produce and direct one of his best selling comics into another movie.

Target as a Metro Manila Film Fest entry, Coco Martin will join other actors who have played the iconic role of Flavio, following the steps of Fernando Poe Jr., Richard Gutierrez, Bong Revilla Jr., and Jericho Rosales.
