The Optimum Star Claudine Barretto is among the various artists veteran director Wenn Deramas was able to work with. Not only were they able to build a good work relationship but Claudine and Direk Wenn shared a close bond over the years; which is why the Optimum Star is one of those who were greatly affected by the veteran director’s passing.
In a report by Bandila on Monday evening (February 29, 2016), ABS-CBN entertainment journalist MJ Felipe was able to witness how emotional Claudine was when she visited Direk Wenn’s wake at the Arlington Memorial Chapels.

According to MJ, Claudine had a hard time accepting the fact that Direk Wenn has departed. In fact, it took her some time before she was able to see the late director’s remains.
The entertainment journalist also mentioned that Claudine can’t stop crying which is why she has decided to leave the memorial chapel after paying her respect to Direk Wenn.
In addition, Claudine expressed her longing for the late director through a couple of Instagram uploads on Monday (February 29, 2016).
