Charo Santos nominated for Best Actress at the Asian Film Awards

ABS-CBN chief content officer Charo Santos was nominated in the Best Actress category of the Asian Film Awards for her excellent performance in the Lav Diaz film “Ang Babaeng Humayo.”

In an Instagram post on Wednesday, January 11, Star Cinema congratulated the ABS-CBN executive and actress for her nomination in the prestigious film fest.

Charo played the role of Horacia in the critically-acclaimed film “Ang Babaeng Humayo.” The said film won the top prize at the Venice Film Festival last September 2016.
