After Charice Pempengco came out from the closet and revealed that she is a lesbian, her mother, Raquel, felt really bad which started a conflict between them.
The conflict or misunderstanding grew bigger when Charice started a relationship with fellow singer Alyssa Quijano.
But last September 10, 2014, a happy Charice showed and posted on her Instagram account that she and her mother is finally at peace.
Charice posted a picture of her and her family with her girlfriend Alyssa Quijano.
The photo was captioned by Charice and wrote “Monthsary celebration with family. (Also for the people who doubted and thought we wouldn’t be okay. Screw you all. Now please shut up, move on and let us live our lives as one happy family.)”.
