Celebrities rant about LTFRB’s issue with Grab and Uber services

The Land Transportation Franchising & Regulatory Board (LTFRB) has directed transport network companies (TNCs), such as Uber and Grab to suspend operators who do not have provisional authority (PA) or certificate of public convenience (CPC).

The LTFRB also demanded companies to pay a ₱5 million fine against Grab and Uber after they found the two transport network companies committed several violations, the biggest being colorum or illegal operation.

With the recent problem of such services, netizens and local celebrities have voiced out their opinions online, showing their support for the said companies.

Kapamilya actress Coleen Garcia weighed in on Twitter, stating that Uber/Grab are safer compared to other public transportations.
