Caloy Loyzaga passes away at age 85

Legendary PBA star or widely recognized as the “Big Difference” Caloy Lozaga passed away on Wednesday morning (January 27, 2016) at the Cardinal Santos Medical Center due to cardiac arrest.

Caloy was considered as one of the country’s most remarkable basketball players of all-time after he spearheaded the Philippine basketball team into the Asian Games and FIBA Asia Championships in the late 50s and early 60s.

Aside from being a basketball legend, Caloy also fathered his four children, sons Chito and Joey who continued his legacy in basketball and daughters Bing and Teresa who pursued their respective careers in the showbiz industry.
