Is there such a thing as a perfect family? GMA 7’s presents the Afternoon Prime series “Buena Familia” which will premier on Monday (July 27, 2015) will tackle the challenges and hurdles of a family.
In a press conference held last Monday (July 20, 2015), GMA introduced the powerhouse casts of “Buena Familia”: Kylie Padilla, Martin Del Rosario, Jake Vargas, Julie Anne San Jose, Julian Trono, Mona Louise Rey, Angelu De Leon, Bobby Andrews, Tessie Tomas, Aicelle Santos and Mayton Eugenio.
Buena Familia is a story about the struggle of a husband named Arthur (portrayed by Bobby Andrews) to become successful, to provide his family a comfortable and convenient life. Arthur will be supported by his loving wife Bettina (played by Angelu De Leon).

This project will be the first team up of Kylie Padilla and Martin Del Rosario. Adding excitement to the said project is the team up of Angelu and Bobby, regarded as the hottest loveteam back in the 90s.
According to Kylie, she is pressured to work with the casts especially with Martin Del Rosario who recently won Best Supporting Actor at the Gawad Urian Award.
“Ako ‘yung nape-pressure syempre kasi nanalo na siya ganun, hinahangad ko din ‘yun,” said Kylie.
On the other hand, Angelu and Bobby said that their characters in this series are different compared to their previous roles.
“Nakakatuwa, so different sa role. Kung dati nagpapacute lang kami, pinapakilig namin kayo, ngayon serious na kami at kung dati holding hands lang ngayon may [kissing scenes] na,” Bobby explained.
Completing the cast are Jackie Rice, Ryza Cenon, Mel Kimura, and Lou Sison.
