It remains a puzzling question for many if “Asia’s King of Talk” Boy Abunda will enter politics in the 2016 Elections. Reports about Abunda’s alleged interest in politics started when the Kapamilya host was sighted on different events at his hometown province in Samar recently.
In an episode of ‘Aquino and Abunda Tonight’ on Monday (June 29, 2015), Kris Aquino placed co-host Boy on the spotlight as she asked him if he was running for office in Samar.

Boy unhesitantly answered, “Wala ho akong balak.”
“Ayokong agawin yung honor kay Aster Amoyo na nangumbida sa ating mga kaibigang movie press, I think upon the invitation of Kring Kring Gonzales of Tacloban, dinala sila sa Boronggan,” said Boy.
He also clarified that he was in Samar because he was invited to host a pageant.
“I was in Tacloban naman sa imbitasyon naman ni Eugene Tan at ni Governor Petilla to be one of the hosts of Miss Pintados, yun ang dahilan kung bakit ako napauwi,” added Boy.
