An anti-Duterte television commercial was aired on television on May 5, 2016 (Thursday) and is now going viral and has drawn criticisms on social media. The said video is going viral on various social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Youtube.
The said video shows some of the controversial speeches and statements made by the Mayor and being repeated by young children.
The 30-second ad shows kids commenting on video clips showing Duterte’s statements on rape-slay of an Australian missionary, about Pope Francis, the ‘cursings’ and others.
Netizens expressed their disappointment over the airing of the said ad.
