Anne Curtis turns emotional after receiving painting from cancer-ridden fan

Actress Anne Curtis was not able to hold back her tears upon meeting Aedan Pio Malvar, a five-year-old boy suffering from a rare type of cancer known as chordoma.

“Alam mo, napaka-inspiring mo. Nakakatuwa, because you know, kahit ano man yung nararamdaman mo, hindi ‘yan nagiging harang para mag-paint, to learn, to keep on… to continue to being happy, making people around you happy. So nakakatuwa, and I will continue to pray for you,” Anne tearfully said to Aedan on last Sunday’s (July 24) episode of Rated K.

Aedan gifted Anne with one of his paintings during the actress’ visit, which was shared on ‘Aedan Pio’s Fight with the Uncommon’, a Facebook page dedicated to helping Aedan with his condition.

“This is one of Pio’s many renditions of “The Sun” with his one and only crush, Anne Curtis.

Thank you so much for making Pio smile and happy today. Thank you for appreciating and buying his art and thank you for taking time to meet and talk to him. I know he will now always remember you whenever he hears about the Little Prince and he will be determined to get well and hopefully paint again. Maybe someday he’ll be one of the astronauts that will bring us to Mars,” the post read.
