Kapamilya host and actress Anne Curtis is now an international star via her upcoming Hollywood film ‘Blood Ransom’.
The actress shared that she actually went to the US to audition for the role and was happy that the role ‘Crystal’ was given to her.
The movie revolves when Jeremiah (Alexander Dreymon) is caught in the middle of an ill-fated plot to kidnap Crystal (Anne Curtis), his boss Roman’s beautiful young girlfriend, Roman (Samuel Caleb Hunt) unleashes the psychopath, Bill (Jamie Harris), to hunt Jeremiah down.
But when Crystal refuses Jeremiah’s offer to return her to Roman, Jeremiah and Crystal started a dangerous love affair on the run. And with every hour they’re together, a darker deeper secret burns within Crystal — something even more sinister than the killer who is after them.
The said film will be shown in Philippine cinemas on October 29, 2014.
‘Blood Ransom’ is an international independent film directed by Filipino-American Francis dela Torre, he is the one behind the 2011 American movie ‘Subject: I Love You’, which starred Jericho Rosales.
