The phenomenal love team of Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza—or popularly recognized as “AlDub—are just waiting for a go signal from the network executives with regard to their very first teleserye.
According to a tweet by entertainment blogger Showbiz Banter last Friday (January 8, 2016), “AlDub” is just waiting for a conformation from Mr. Tony Tuviera of Television and Production Exponents (TAPE) Inc to commit for Maine.

“GMA-7 waiting for Mr. Tuviera of TAPE to commit for MAINE MENDOZA. Post negotiations, the first AlDub soap will air.”
Reports say that the proposed teleserye will go by the working title “God Gave Me U” which is based on AlDub’s Kalyeserye theme song “God Gave Me You.”
GMA, TAPE, and the AlDub love team have not disclosed any information or update about the upcoming teleserye yet.
