Kapamilya actress and “Story of Us” star Aiko Melendez shared in an interview that she is in full support of her 17-year-old son with fellow actor Jomari Yllana, Andrei Yllana’s blossoming showbiz career.
During her television guesting on “Tonight With Boy Abunda” for its Monday (March 7, 2016) episode, Aiko revealed that she and Andrei have an “agreement” when it comes to the young star’s showbiz career.

“Ang usapan po namin, ayaw niya akong makialam. So as much as gusto kong makialam, hindi po ako makikialam.”
The “Story of Us” star narrated how Andrei asked her to refrain from watching his tapings by saying,
“Sabi niya, ‘Mom, I wanna be an actor but can you not watch my taping?’ Sabi ko, ‘It’s like you’re killing me. I cannot. I have to be there.’”
Aiko also mentioned that Andrei agreed to be monitored whenever he is at tapings but asked the Kapamilya actress to be discreet when doing so. As a supportive mom and a member of the entertainment industry, Aiko said she understands Andrei’s decision by saying:
