Actress Aiko Melendez admitted that she broke up with a boyfriend for the sake of her kids. Aiko made the revelation during her guesting with her son 17-year-old Andre Yllana on ABS-CBN weekend program “Gandang Gabi Vice.”
According to Andre, he adviced her mom to bring her boyfriend (Andre did not mention the name of the boyfriend) to the house more often so that they will get to know him better. Aiko then decided to breakup with her boyfriend because she felt he is not getting along well with her kids.

“kasi feeling ko hindi sya OK with my kids. So feeling ko bago pa na hindi naman ganun ka OK ang kids ko, isa-sacrifice ko na happiness ko. Ganun ko sila kamahal.” said Aiko.
Andre added that it is perfectly fine for their mom to have a boyfriend for as long as the guy will also love and take care of them.
