Kapuso artist Aicelle Santos will play “Gigi Van Trahn” in Miss Saigon’s United Kingdom tour production. She will wow the global theater community as she will take her talent to the United Kingdom and Switzerland.
According to CNN, Aicelle will be leaving for Manchester by the third week of March to begin training for the role.

Aicelle was not the first Filipina who have taken the role for Miss Saigon. Rachelle Ann Go played Gigi in the London West End revival of the musical while Isay Alvarez played it first in the original West End production and Lea Salonga as Kim.
Aicelle will be joined by fellow Filipino singer Red Concepcion and Gerald Santos.
