Kapuso singer Aicelle Santos who is now a part of Miss Saigon UK’s cast has been very busy performing in shows as she plays the role of Gigi, the same role Rachelle Ann Go played in the play’s Broadway shows.
However, while she graces the stage impressing the audience with her talent, Aicele has also been battling with her knee problem.

In her Instagram account, Aicelle revealed that she has Plica Syndrome, “an internal derangement of the knee which prevents normal functioning of the knee joint,” according to physio-pedia.com.
She wrote: “Warrior Princess a.k.a Gigi!
Warrior dahil araw-araw nilalabanan ang tuhod. Mayroon akong Plica Syndrome. I-google niyo na lang ang ibig sabihin. Mahirap i-explain. Araw-araw nananalanging maitawid ang palabas. FIGHT
Healing claimed in Jesus’ name.”
