Comedy Concert Queen Ai-Ai delas Alas broke her silence regarding on rumors circulating on social media suggesting that her “anak-anakan” and former award-winning child actor Jiro Manio returned to rehab.
In an interview with Lhar Santiago on the Kapuso news program ’24 Oras’ last Thursday (February 11, 2016), the Queen of Comedy clarified that contrary to rumors and speculations, Jiro does not use illegal drugs; however, Aiai revealed that the former child actor is chronically ill.

“Hindi po siya nagdra-drugs, sabi ni doktora he’s chronically ill, and ayoko po sana sabihin pero may sakit po si Jiro. Hindi siya stable.”
The actress-comedienne got emotional during the interview as she expressed her message for the bashers and pleaded not to tag the child star as a drug addict.
“Yung dignity po ng bata, iwan natin sa kanya. Hindi po siya adik, meron lang po talaga siyang sakit.” Ai Ai explained.
