Ai Ai delas Alas wins best actress award in international film festival

2017 is proving to be a good year for comedienne and actress Ai Ai delas Alas as she went home with the Best Female Actor in Narrative Feature award for her role in Area, a film by Louie Ignacio, in the recently-concluded 7th Annual Queens World Film Festival held in Queens, New York, United States. The spirited actress thanked everyone who was instrumental for her hard-earned win.

Ai Ai plays the role of an aging prostitute in Area, a complete contrast from her former comedic on-screen roles. It seems the change has paid off well because it got her her first international award. We’re happy for you, Miss Ai Ai!
