Presidential Sister Kris Aquino was assigned to keep company and escort the delegates who participated in the recent APEC Summit. It was through social media where she shared her experience, together with her sisters, as APEC’s First Lady but a certain post caught the eye of the meticulous public.
Last Thursday, November 19, 2015, Kris posted on her Instagram account a photo of her sunburn where she adds in the caption,
About to sleep, Bimb took this picture- decided to post this so we can all have a good laugh tonight sa karma ng kaartehan ko na SUNBURN ako ng bongga- nabilad in Fort Santiago at the peak of the just before noon heat… You’ll love the sense of humor of my sister Viel, baka daw my entire back nag ka lace patterned sunburn. What caught the ire of netizens is the part where Kris equated her sunburn to people who have to walk because of the APEC event:
“Quits na tayo sa lahat ng nahirapan mag commute these past few days, patas ang mundo, patche patche naman ang balat ko.”
The said post caught the attention of netizens and caused them buzzing over the said caption. Kris’ Instagram account was flooded with hate comments from Instagram users doubting her sense of comparison.
