ABS-CBN announced the new appointment of Carlo Katigbak as the network’s new president and CEO on account of Charo Santos-Concio–former president and CEO–stepping down from the position.
An article published by ABS-CBN News affirmed that effective January 1, 2016, Katigbak will become the Kapamilya network’s new president.

Former ABS-CBN President Charo Santos-Concio will continue her service to the network as the Chief Content Officer, President of ABS-CBN University, and Executive Adviser to the Chairman of ABS-CBN.
Even before his recent appointment as the network president and CEO, Katigbak previously managed some of the network’s major innovations, particularly that of Sky Cable, ABS-CBNmobile, and ABS-CBN TVplus.
In 1991, Katigbak fulfilled his Management Engineering degree from Ateneo de Manila University and finished an Advanced Management Program from Harvard Business School in 2009.
