The rape complaint filed by stunt woman Margarita ‘Mai’ Fajardo, against actor Vhong Navarro was dismissed by the Quezon City Prosecutors’ Office, the resolution was given on October 15, 2014.
In April, Margarita’s affidavit stated that Vhong forced her into performing oral sex on him inside the actor’s sports utility vehicle during the last few weeks of the taping of ABS-CBN’s remake of ‘Betty Lafea’ five years ago.
According to City Prosecutor John Patrick Corpuz, Margarita failed to explain how Vhong grabbed, pulled and forced her to perform the said sex act on the actor.
Also, the resolution stated that the complainant had no reason to be afraid of Vhong because the alleged incident happened with many people around them.
In April and July, the Department of Justice dismissed the two rape complaints against the actor filed by model Deniece Cornejo while last October 3, the third case filed by Roxanne Acosta Cabañero was also dismissed due to lack of sufficient evidence.
